I usually paint in oil and acrylic. I also enjoy creating in clay.  For many years I worked as a teacher of  classical languages and civilisation.  Some of my recent paintings and ceramics are reflections on Ovid's Metamorphoses.  Most are drawn from the hills and valleys where I live in Somerset, close to the Blackdowns.  Sometimes I paint in Cornwall and France.
